Sending a Case

American Dental Laboratory understands the importance of finding the right lab and we are here to support you digitally, as well as traditionally.

Send a Digital Impression

Go to customer.connectcasecenter.com, login, add Advantage Dental Laboratory to your laboratory list. Search the name (American Dental Laboratory) and location Richardson, Texas.

  1. Log in to Sirona Connect
  2. Select “My Cerec Connect” then “Edit Account”
  3. Under “My Account” select “My Favorite Laboratories”
  4. Search “American Dental Laboratory” in the field for “Company name” and check
    the box
  5. Click “Add” to register
  6. Select your restoration preferences and send the scans by selecting “Submit Cart”

To set up our lab in your system, call iTero customer support (1.800.577.8767) and request to add American Dental Laboratory to your “Favorites” list if we are not in your system. Our acct # is: 17760

  1. Under settings, select “Sync Configuration”
  2. Transmit case scans and data by selecting “Send” on the screen
  1. Sign into your Medit Link account at medit.com/medit-link.
  2. Click on Partners and search American Dental Laboratory under New Partners.
  3. Send a request to become an American Dental Laboratory partner. Once partnership is
    approved, you can select American Dental Laboratory as recipient when completing the
    digital RX.

E4D & Planmeca systems are open architecture, so you can send your digital impression files
directly to our lab.

  1. Save or convert all digital impressions as “.stl” files. Once they’ve been made “.stl” files,
    you can send them via email to americandentallab2@gmail.com.
  2. Or you can send your files through DDX contact Henry Schein for technical assistance to
    add American Dental Lab to your list of laboratories: 800-537-6070.

Register with a 3Shape Communicate account at us.3ShapeCommunicate.com. If American Dental Laboratory is not already pre-installed on the list of available labs, follow these 4 steps.

  1. In your 3Shape account
  2. Under “More” select “Settings”
  3. In the menu, click “Connections” then “Labs” and “Add”
  4. Search “American Dental Lab” and click “Connect” to send a request to connect
  5. Once the connection request has been approved, please look for “American Dental Lab”under your “Scan & Send” menu heading
  1. Complete the digital Rx
  2. Click “Sign” on the screen to transmit a scan file to the lab
  3. Contact 3M ESPE directly to add American Dental Laboratory to your list of connected labs

Send a Analog Impression

Proper packing is crucial for the quality of our service. Broken models lead to ill-fitting prosthetics, requiring new impressions and causing inconvenience. Add extra bubble wrap to fill the box and prevent movement and breakage during shipping.

Place all impressions and bites in a Biohazard bag and seal.

Place R/X any documents in the separate pocket on the outside of the biohazard bag. If you do not have biohazard bags with outside pockets, please place paperwork in a separate bag.

When shipping an articulator and face bow, remove models from the articulator and wrap them individually.

Place all crowns or bridges and any loose items like shade tabs or implant parts in a separate small container or sealed plastic bag and wrap them individually to avoid loss or breakage.

Any photos or slides accompanying the case should be placed in a plastic bag for protection.
